Adrian Adams
Adrian Adams was appointed Chairman and Chief Executive Officer on September 19, 2011. Prior to joining Neurologix, Mr. Adams served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Inspire Pharmaceuticals, Inc., where he oversaw the commercialization of prescription pharmaceutical products and led the company through a strategic acquisition by global pharmaceutical leader Merck & Co., Inc. in May 2011. Prior to Inspire, Mr. Adams served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Sepracor Inc. from December 2006 until February 2010. Under his leadership, Sepracor conducted multiple strategic business development activities, including the in-licensing of seven products and out-licensing deals with two major pharmaceutical companies, prior to its acquisition by Dainippon Sumitomo Pharma Co. Prior to joining Sepracor, Mr. Adams was President and Chief Executive Officer of Kos Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from 2002 until the acquisition of the company by Abbott Laboratories in December 2006. During his tenure he led the transformation of Kos into a fully integrated and profitable pharmaceutical company with annual revenues approaching $1 billion. During his 30 years of experience, Mr. Adams also held senior marketing positions at ICI (now part of AstraZeneca), SmithKline Beecham and Novartis. He has extensive expertise launching major global brands, and has driven successful corporate development activities including financing, product acquisitions, investments, in-licensing and company M&A activities. Mr. Adams received a B.S. in Chemistry from Salford University in the U.K. Mr. Adams serves as a director of Amylin Pharmaceuticals.

Andrew I. Koven
Andrew Koven was appointed President and Chief Administrative Officer on September 19, 2011. Prior to joining Neurologix, Mr. Koven held the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative and Legal Officer at Inspire Pharmaceuticals, Inc., where he was responsible for the legal, intellectual property, CD&L and compliance departments through the acquisition of Inspire by Merck & Co, Inc. Prior to Inspire, Mr. Koven served as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Sepracor Inc. from March 2007 until February 2010. During his time at Sepracor, Mr. Koven was significantly involved with, and managed, all intellectual property, employment, regulatory, corporate governance, litigation, compliance, commercial transactions, sales and marketing policies and procedures and all CD&L and merger and acquisition activities, including the acquisition of Sepracor by Dainippon Sumitomo Pharma in 2009. Prior to Sepracor, Mr. Koven served as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Kos Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from 2003 through 2007. During this time he was responsible for the legal, compliance and quality assurance departments and was instrumental in all CD&L activities, including the acquisition of Kos by Abbott Laboratories at the end of 2006. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Lavipharm Corporation from 2000 to 2003 and held positions of increasing responsibility at Warner-Lambert Company as Assistant General Counsel, Pharmaceuticals N.A. and Assistant General Counsel, Consumer Healthcare N.A. from 1993 to 2000. Mr. Koven also previously served as Counsel, Corporate and Investment Division for the Equitable Life Assurance Society of the United States and as a Corporate Associate in the law firm of Cahill Gordon & Reindell in New York City. Mr. Koven received a B.A. in Political Science from Dalhousie University and a LL.B. from Dalhousie University Law School and an LL.M. from Columbia University Law School in New York City.

Marc L. Panoff
Marc L. Panoff was appointed Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Secretary effective January 23, 2006. Previously, Mr. Panoff served as Chief Financial Officer of Nephros, Inc., a publicly traded medical device company from July 2004 to January 2006, where he was responsible for leading the successful initial public offering for Nephros. From August 2001 to July 2004, Mr. Panoff served as Vice President, Finance, at Walker Digital Companies, a privately held research and development company. He also served as Corporate Controller at Medicis Pharmaceutical Corporation, a publicly traded specialty pharmaceutical company, for over seven years. At Medicis, Mr. Panoff was responsible for financial operations and the operational integration of various transactions, including acquisitions, a joint venture, and in-licensing agreements. Mr. Panoff received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis and his Masters in Business Administration from Arizona State University.

Christine V. Sapan
Dr. Sapan was appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer effective July 10, 2006. Dr. Sapan was previously employed for 18 years at Nabi Biopharmaceuticals, a vertically integrated biopharmaceutical company that focuses on serious unmet medical needs including infectious diseases, most recently serving as Vice President, Project Management from 2001 to 2005. During her tenure with Nabi, Dr. Sapan played a key role in the management of the company's research programs and the commercial expansion of its therapeutic products. Earlier in her career, Dr. Sapan worked and consulted for a number of technology based diagnostic companies, including Beckman-Coulter, as a regulatory affairs advisor. Dr. Sapan has a PhD in Experimental Pathology and an MS in Human Physiology from the University of North Carolina.
