Medtronic has made two substantial equity investments in the Company and has developed the infusion system used in Neurologix Phase 2 clinical trial for Parkinson's disease. The FDA approved the use of this device for such trial.
The goal of the catheter development program is to provide the Company with a proprietary technology to deliver its gene therapy agents to facilitate acceptance and use by the general community of practicing neurosurgeons.
